No. Firewood cannot be stored within 5 feet of the house.

This one is already in state law, so for existing homes it applies as soon as the rule takes effect.

What to do instead

Stack it more than 5 feet from the house. Farther is better.

Timing: Existing homes: right away once the rule takes effect.
